GRASSROOTS is a community engagement programme working in Luton since 1991. In dialogue with the churches, different faith communities, and with those of no particular faith affiliation, GRASSROOTS strives to uncover a sharp edge of engagement with contemporary issues of community cohesion, peace and reconciliation, and injustice and inequality in Luton’s diverse context.

This vision is strengthened by working in partnership with key agencies in our town:

  • Luton Council of Faiths

  • Churches Together in Luton

  • Near Neighbours Programme

  • Luton Borough Council

  • Bedfordshire Police
