Welcome

GRASSROOTS Luton is a community engagement programme working for over 30 years with diverse faith communities on issues of peace & reconcilation, strenghtening community relations and resilience. Founded in 1991, it registered as a charity in 1996, and became a CIO in 2015. GRASSROOTS continues to support cohesion in a town shaped by rich diversity and shifting global influences.

GRASSROOTS vision is strengthened by working in partnership with key agencies in our town:

  • Luton Council of Faiths

  • Churches Together in Luton & different faith communities

  • Near Neighbours Programme

  • Luton Borough Council

  • Bedfordshire Police
